Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Client Accounting Advisor to join our Chatham office. In this role, you will provide bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting support to a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily and monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare and process payroll and related tax filings
• Handle sales tax reporting and compliance
• Reconcile accounts and maintain the general ledger
• Support clients with accounting software and technology solutions
• Ensure timely, accurate completion of all assigned work
Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience in a public accounting firm or industry
• Proficient with QuickBooks (ProAdvisor certification a plus)
• Experience with Sage 50 Accounting software
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Prior payroll processing and payroll tax experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
